PARIS, Jul 7, 2008 / FW/ — This collection by Udo Edling started beautifully with modern, slim cut suits and minimalistic dresses in neutrals and shocking pinks. Towards the end of the show it was clear, even to a newbie like me, that his finishing was poor. I loved the models’ big sunglasses and grey, jelly wedge shoes that were worn with nearly every look. Edling’s collection as a whole was very commercial, but was it Haute Couture?
