MILAN, Jul 2, 2008 / FW/ — The latest fashion is unveiled on the runway; for it to reach our wardrobes is a long complicated process. Bringing the original to design to the production line and then finally distributed to retail stores, a designer and/or design house need a trusted and reliable business partner.

Roberto Cavalli, as part of the company’s general plan for the development and consolidation of the menswear and accessories collection has signed a new licensing agreement with Gibò to produce and distribute the Roberto Cavalli menswear label beginning the Autumn/Winter 2009 collection.

As announced last Monday, the collaboration between Roberto Cavalli and Gibo aims to reinforce the presence of the men’s collection on the international markets. The bond with Gibò, Italian company affiliated to Japanese group Kashiyama, is a strategic step towards the new plan, part of the global strategy of programmed growth.

“I am very satisfied with this new agreement. Gibo is a prestigious company with unique capacities that will allow very interesting developments for my menswear line,” Roberto Cavalli said in a statement.

Having a long history in production of luxury fashion goods, Gibò is able to satisfy specific requirements of Roberto Cavalli creativity; assuring a growth that is coherent with the style of the house. The common research of excellence and perfection is the ideal premise of the future collaboration between Roberto Cavalli and Gibò.

Gibò has been chosen for its excellent quality production standards and elevated know-how within international distribution.
