Valdemar Iodice, who founded the company in 1987 had set his eyes in the U.S.; already available at Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus, plus a very successful debut at Bryant Park last February, the Brazilian designer is well on his way.
To continue the momentum, Iodice returns to Bryant Park this September. And if Fall 2008 is about graphical color blocks, Spring 2009 is going to be mysterious having been inspired by the lost city of Atlantis.
Precise constructions recreate the silhouette of a confident woman, full of power, sophistication and the freedom of simplicity. The collection incorporates a sensual touch into a proper tailor fit with tight, architectonic shapes and column dresses, while neutral tones are splashed with sunset colors, reflecting the soft boldness of the collection.
