MILAN, Sep 23, 2008 / FW/ — When Salvatore Ferragamo unveils its Spring 2009 collection today, Dubai will be watching closely. The Italian maison had agreed to design the interiors of several exclusive Penthouses in the ‘Pentominium’ the tallest residential building in the world, scheduled for completion in 2012.

As announced last Sep 10, Salvatore Ferragamo has agreed to define the interior design of some of the 120 Penthouses in the Pentominium in Dubai. The project, ideated by Trident and designed by AEDAS Architects won five awards at the CNBC Best Property Award and will be showcased around the world.

“Ferragamo’s first step into the high-end luxury residential segment,” comments Michele Norsa, CEO of Salvatore Ferragamo, “is an important achievement in the process of brand extension that lays the basis for further opportunities.”

The official launch of the Pentominium project will take place in Dubai on October 6 with a spectacular fashion show and a charity event.
