PARIS, Oct 5, 2008 / FW/ — With trees in the background, Albert Kriemler, Creative Director of Akris invites everyone to spend time outdoors next spring, wearing Akris preferably, of course.

Actually, a girl could not go wrong choosing Akris for Spring 2009. Proposing sheath dresses done in netting or accordion pleats, there is a sense of freshness and exhilaration. Even the pantsuit sets, with the double-breasted collarless coats and button-less coat done in white or woven looked and felt light and airy.

Without touching on futurism, but just emphasizing the modernity of the silhouettes and color choices, Albert Kriemler successfully proposed a wardrobe for the 21st century working girl.

Unlike her 1980s sister, who was exemplified in the classic movie ‘Working Girl’ starring Melanie Griffith and Sigourney Weaver, the 2000s working girl does not stay all day and all night in her air-conditioned office at Madison Avenue.

Thanks to advances in technology, she can stay outside and still work, thanks to Wi-Fi and the Silicon Valley gods.
