BARCELONA, Apr 12, 2009 / FW/ — Born in Barcelona in 1978, Elena Martin was attracted by fashion and architecture at an early age. While getting her higher education from Central Saint Martins College in London, Martin developed a taste for structures and graphics.
 Elena Martin on the runway Fall 2009 Barcelona In 2006, she launched her own label: MARTIN • LAMOTHE and presented her first collection at Bread & Butter in Barcelona and Berlin, and the second at Rendez-Vous in Paris and on the Ego catwalk. She has helped style artists such as Kylie Minogue and Howie B, and has worked in style management for experimental theatre and cinema productions in London’s East End. While Martin Lamothe’s work has an international outlook, its style identifies with London, and comprises European color and shapes.
