BARCELONA, Apr 18, 2009 / FW/ — One of the ten Projecte Bressol awardees, Palma de Mallorca native Stefanía Borrás studied at the Blau design school and EDA (Mediterranean design school), both in Mallorca.
She finally graduated in fashion design at the design school ESDI from the Ramon Llull university in Barcelona. She completed her studies with a course in fashion communication and psychology and a shoe creation and design course.
Stefania’s work experience distinguishes for her work in some of the most prestigious international fashion brands, from the collaboration with the Spanish designer Jose Miró at the presentation of Cibeles’ Spring/Summer 2005 collection, called Nirvana.
Then, she worked for Burberry in Spain as merchandiser, and finally as a designer and responsible for the women’s department of Marithé + François Girbaud in Spain, last position she held before she started to work for the development and expansion of her own brand with the help of the Generalitat de Catalunya after being selected for the Projecte Bressol.
