MILAN, Jun 23, 2009 / FW/ — During a post-show dinner, Italo Zucchelli, Men’s Creative Director for Calvin Klein Collection was feted to celebrate his winning the 2009 CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year last week in New York.
The dinner and cocktail party was held in a grand historical building on Piazza dei Mercanti, located in front of Piazza Duomo. Guests had cocktails on the terrace overlooking the piazza and then adjourned to dinner on another floor and later ascended to the party in an upstairs lounge and terrace.
As a surprise for the Italian Mr. Zucchelli, it was prearranged that his Spring 2010 runway show would be projected on the large screen in the piazza during the event, just adjacent the Duomo di Milano, in full view of the evening’s guests.
In attendance at the dinner and cocktail party, and wardrobed in Calvin Klein Collection, were Calvin Klein models Gabriel Aubry; Garrett Neff, the current model for Calvin Klein Underwear; and Jamie Dornan, the current face of the Fall 2009 Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear global advertising campaigns, as well as the Calvin Klein campaign and the latest men’s fragrance, ck free.
Other notables present for the event included Calvin Klein’s Tom Murry, Malcolm Carfrae, Kevin Carrigan, Ulrich Grimm, Fabio Fusco, and Robert Vignola, Alessandro Dell’Acqua, Suzy Menkes, Olivier Lalanne, Anastasia Barbieri, Tricia & Terry Jones, Nick Sullivan, Jim Moore, Madeline Weeks, Stefano Tonchi, Bruce Pask, Grant Pearce, Dave Zincenko, Stephen Gan, Dan Peres, Michael Macko, Brian Atwood, Manuel Frei, Massimo Torrigiani, Sean Patterson, Michele Lupi, Andrea Tenerani, Robert Rabensteiner, Gianluca Cantaro, Jon Kortajareana, and Carlo Antonelli.
