This trend dates all the way back to Roman times, and they are ultimately inspired by ancient Grecian wardrobe. It is said that Alexander McQueen is responsible for instituting this trend in our modern day.
Dennis Basso seems to exhibit the mode in its most original state, while Charlotte Ronson and Diane von Furstenberg slightly tweak the strappy look. With either extreme, be confident for the battlefield that is life. Be a warrior, and sport the gladiator pump.
