May Fair HotelLONDON, Aug 11, 2009 / FW/ — For the second year running, the May Fair Hotel has been named the official hotel of London Fashion Week. Located right in the centre of the Mayfair village, the May Fair Hotel is at the heart of London Fashion Week and the place to see and be seen.

The hotel will be awash with designers, models and the movers and shakers of the fashion world, all enjoying the stylish space and stunning collection of world- class signature suites in which to showcase collections, fashion brands and more besides.

Their plush portfolio of offerings also includes the Crystal Room, the Danziger Suite, the Amba Salon, plus a private cinema for special event screenings.

Charles Oak, General Manager of The May Fair Hotel said, “We are delighted to be working with the British Fashion Council as the official hotel of London Fashion Week for the second season running. The relationship and our position as the Official Hotel of London Fashion Week has changed perception from what people thought we were to what we really are – a young, fashionable and connected central London hotel.”

Commenting on the 25th anniversary of the BFC, Charles Oak, said: “London is unique in its style, but it is personality above all that differentiates our fabulous city. It is powerful and edgy, delicate and beautiful, striking, chic and cool.”

“London can be dark as easily as it can embrace you, but most of all it is independent. London is its own place, it is not beholden to a set of rules or restrictions. It is this freedom and dynamic personality that translates into a unique creative energy and passion that is so evident in its fashions and style. Fashion is ultimately about personality so it has no better home than London.”

And while much of London Fashion Week is accessible only to professionals in the industry, the May Fair will ensure that everyone can have some access to the LFW experience. The May Fair Bar will crackle with energy and spill over with the fashion industry elite.

Meanwhile, the Mixology team will unveil an unrivalled combination of old classics, modern interpretations and bespoke drinks so that the London Fashion Week experience can be enjoyed by all.
