NEW YORK, Sep 2, 2009 / FW/ — Coming in from behind to take first place at the PGA Tour’s 2009 Barclays golf tournament, Heath Slocum did everything right, including his choice of wardrobe, Calvin Klein Golf.
Held at the Liberty National Golf Club in New Jersey, Mr. Slocum made a 20-foot par putt on the 18th hole for a one-shot victory over Tiger Woods, to win the first of the PGA Tour’s playoff series.
Mr. Slocum wore a green golf shirt and black pants from the 2009 Calvin Klein Golf line, designed by Creative Director Kevin Carrigan.
The men’s and women’s Calvin Klein Golf range is available at retail now from leading golf specialty stores and resorts across Europe. It is planned that by Spring 2010 the global distribution of Calvin Klein Golf will expand to reach the Middle East (Dubai), the Americas, Africa, and Asia.
It is currently expected that U.S. deliveries will begin by late 2010, and will be offered through leading golf specialty stores and resorts nationwide at that time.
