PARIS, Oct 5, 2009 / FW/ — For Spring 2010, Kris Van Assche continues his deconstruction and reconstruction of the traditional jacket that he started last season and this time, his vision is clearer, even stronger.

For Fall 2009, Kris Van Assche proposed a double-breasted blouse that is cinched at the waist by a wide piece of fabric sewn in to become part of the blouse.

This time around, the Belgian designer attached this veil to the jacket; one half was inside while the other half was outside. Knotting them together at the side resulted to a new take on the jacket, adding femininity to this traditional mannish garment.
