DALLAS, Oct 29, 2009 / FW/ — No Nikon camera or tweeting on his Blackberry, actor Ashton Kutcher gave his full attention to his lovely wife Demi Moore last night during The Gentlemen’s Ball at the Edison Ballroom in New York City, hosted by GQ Magazine Publisher Peter Hungsinger.

While Ms. Moore was wearing a halter black and white shift mini dress, Ashton Kutcher, who was a celebrity ambassador for the evening wore a Calvin Klein Collection’s gray suit, white shirt and black tie designed by Italo Zucchelli, the brands’ Men’s Creative Director, who was also in attendance.

Calvin Klein Collection seems to be a popular choice among the celebrity guests last night.

Kid Cudi, a performer for the evening also chose to wear Calvin Klein Collection menswear – a tone-on-tone black ensemble.

Established in 2007 by GQ Magazine to commemorate its 50th Anniversary, The Gentlemen’s Fund hopes to encourage individuals to become agents of change by contributing to charities that champion causes essential to men – conservation, education, leadership, and integrity.

This year, those charities include Oceana, UNICEF, The Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation, and the Pat Tillman Foundation.

Earlier during the week, Keri Hilson performed in a Jean Paul Gaultier purple wool military jacket with black velvet trimming onstage during Power 105.1’s Powerhouse at the Izod Center in Rutherford, NJ. The jacket is from Mr. Gaultier’s ready-to wear collection.

Alicia Keys is also loving the French couturier. Ms. Keys wore a Jean Paul Gaultier multi strap black glazed gabardine trench jacket to the taping of MTV’s “It’s On with Alexa Chung.” The stylist is Wouri Vice.

Still, it is not just about the clothes. As Donatella Versace had advised fashionistas before, don’t allow a rapper to out-bling you.

Katie Cassidy and Amber Heard decided not to be outblinged and wore iconic Miriam Haskell costume jewelry to the preview of Jason Wu Spring 2010 collection at Neiman Marcus on October 27th, 2009.

Katie wore a sliver plated cuff hand-wired with European crystals and Russian gold plated beads and filigrees. Amber wore a Russian gold plated hammered brass bead ring, and faceted onyx chain tassel earrings.

In the resurgence of costume jewelry on the red carpet, Miriam Haskell stands above and beyond since its launch in 1924 by designer Miriam Haskell. Miriam Haskell jewelry has always been known for the intricate detailing of their designs and for its use of elaborate filigree and careful wiring.

P. Diddy, Donatella Versace, Dirty Money, Isabeli FontanaMiriam Haskell was a premier American fashion jewelry house for the better part of the 20th century. The company was sold to Frank Fialkoff in 1990 and is still producing today with Miriam’s own distinctive aesthetic. The collection is still handmade in New York City.

The pieces range in price from $500 to $2000 and can be found at such stores as Nordstrom, Fred Segal and Henri Bendel and Stanley Korshak, to name a few.

Speaking of Donatella Versace, the Italian designer was south of the equator, at Rio de Janeiro to be exact, with Isabeli Fontana, P. Diddy, and the group Dirty Money all of whom wore Versace during Oi Fashion Rocks.
