NEW YORK & MADRID, Nov 13, 2009 / FW/ — Last night in Madrid, Italo Zucchelli, Calvin Klein Collection’s Men’s Creative Director, was awarded the 2009 Best International Designer Award at the GQ Spain Men of the Year Awards, held at the Hotel Villa Magna.
For the evening, Calvin Klein Collection wardrobed award recipient and model Andrés Velencoso and Javier de Miguel in looks designed by Mr. Zucchelli.
Mr. Zucchelli hosted a table for the evening and was joined by famed Spanish designer Lorenzo Caprile, who presented Mr. Zucchelli with his award; GQ’s Javier Fernandez de Angulo; socialite María León; actors Quim Gutierrez, Clara Lago, and Esmeralda Moya; and Mr. Velencoso.
Other award recipients for the evening included Claudia Schiffer, Alberta Ferretti, Alejandro Amenabar, Paco Arango, Juan Diego, Borja Cobeaga, Jesus Olmedo, Miguel Bose, Angel Exposito, Josep Pique, El Juli, Miguel Angel Perera, David Delfin, Goya Toledo, and Rosa Diez.
