Holiday Wish List: Versace Bags and Sunglasses

From the Spring 2010 collection, the Versace’s eyewear model for women echoes a Seventies look but with a distinctly modern take. The front section in acetate is embellished with Swarovski crystals that create a contrast with the smoky lenses.

The Versace logo on the arms adds the finishing touch to this chic frame, which is available in a broad palette of colours: black, dark tortoiseshell, clear dark brown, marbled violet and kingfisher green.

The perfect synthesis between traditional standards and innovative creativity, always intrinsic to the House of Versace, is exemplified by these new Couture Limited Edition sunglasses. The 18kt gold plaque, which reads “Gianni Versace – Via Gesù 12 Milano”, symbolizes the exclusivity of the Versace world, transforming this eyewear accessory into an authentic precious piece of jewellery.

The sunglasses are accompanied by a special gold rigid case in soft nappa leather adorned with the Greek key pattern. The exterior of the case is embellished with the gold Couture plaque. Versace Couture sunglasses will be available only at Ilori US stores from November 2009.
