Andrew MurrayPARIS, Jan 4, 2010 / FW/ — Tennis’ #4 seed Andy Murray debuted the new Adidas apparel Competition line and the legendary Barricade V tennis shoes today in Perth as he represented Great Britain for the Hopman Cup.

The 22-year-old Briton, who has captured 14 ATP World Tour titles to date and finished as a runner-up at the 2008 US Open and a semifinalist at Wimbledon in 2009, is the only adidas athlete wearing the adidas Competition apparel line in the colours signal blue/white in spring/summer 2010.

Both the Bermuda and the Polo feature the state-of-the art technologies of CLIMACOOL® and FORMOTION™. Together these fabrics guarantee a perfect fit and ensure that Andy remains cool and dry for best performance even under the toughest heat conditions.

“I’m looking forward to starting the new season wearing adidas. In the Australian summer you want a kit that is lightweight, comfortable and that keeps you nice and cool,” said Andy Murray in a statement.

“My new range of clothing offers exactly this and together, we have developed some great products for 2010,” Murray added.

The Andy Murray Competition apparel and Barricade footwear ranges will be available at selected retailers worldwide from January 1st, 2010 and can also be purchased on www.shop.adidas.com
