MILAN, Jan 17, 2010 / FW/ — Ennio Capasa always has a grasp of the current zeitgeist and for Fall 2010 he tackled the “working class” though it has expanded from its 20th century definition.

Today’s working class consist of the usual suspects – from dock workers to organic farmer; yet creeping into the category since the 1990s are the high tech employees, from software developer to desktop support!

Wisely taking elements from the clothing of dock workers and incorporating them into suits and jackets, Ennio Capasa came up with an amalgam of traditional and modern, like the short coat with hidden placket adorned with an overlay of zigzag knit from shoulder to chest.

Is it a suit; is it a bomber jacket; is it a shortened trench coat? Whatever it is, Ennio Capasa has everyone looking.

The same theme – mixing and matching textures and silhouettes, is repeated in different variations, making this collection very tight and very directional. And though the week is still very early, and we are just in the beginning of the New Year, but Ennio Capasa might as well has given us the look for the comng decade.
