PARIS, Jan 28, 2010 / FW/ — Alfred Dunhill once said, “It is not enough to expect a man to pay for the best, you must also give him what he has paid for …”

Taking that as gospel, Kim Jones, the Creative Director of the brand mined the company’s rich heritage and found suits, jackets and trench coats that were just perfect for the 1920s gentlemen, back in the days when Dunhill was heavily vetted in the motoring business.

Using that as a template, Kim Jones designed slim suits with the Dunhill crest, hooded jacket for traveling and a trench coat made of light fabric as he transplanted the 1920s lad to the 21st century.
