PARIS, Jan 31, 2010 / FW/ — It was so beautiful, the show was a tearjerker. It was Jean Paul Gaultier in top form as he sent Mexican inspired gowns and dresses on the catwalk.

It was masterful tailoring – bustier dress that was completely “woven” together into a trellis skirt; the flora and fauna of Mexico were laser cut into the fabric, the sombrero a piece of art on their own.

And the finale, French-American actress Arielle Dombasle sang a moving Spanish song, “Cucurrucucu, Paloma” in a lush red dropdown waist gown with a beaded top. She took the bow with Jean Paul Gaultier, the designer’s appearance on stage resulted to cheers and deafening applause.
