NEW YORK, Jan 10, 2010 / FW/ — All eyes might be in Las Vegas for the new technology being introduced at the CES show, but apps are still showing up in the most unexpected places.
KLUCKR, a new iPhone app and website allows users to locate and rate wing joints, organize wing nights and even earn ‘Kluckr Bucks’ for hot prizes. Created by wing lovers, for wings lovers, KLUCKR is off to a spicy start.
Thursday night in New York, Epstein’s Bar (82 Stanton Street, New York, NY), hosted “Lord of the Wings”, a wing eating contest for New York’s self-proclaimed hot wing fanatics.
Hosted by Dave Ortiz & KLUCKR with Elijah Wood, famed for his role as Frodo Baggins in “The Lord of the Rings”, as guest DJ, the contest turned up the heat on its contestants, and the winner (pictured) took home a KLUCKR prize pack for his efforts.
