bernardNEW YORK, Mar 9, 2010 / — While the fashionista’s eyes are in Paris, the MASSIVEGOOD movement launched in New York on March 2nd with Will.I.Am, Whitney Port, Becka Diamond, Reni Lane, Jay Sean, Kidz in the Hall, MTV host Julissa Bermudez and Yvonne Chaka Chaka attending the star-studded affair.

An initiative powered by ordinary individuals that wish to do good easily, quickly and inexpensively, MASSIVEGOOD believes that small acts can stop millions of preventable deaths from HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis, reduce child mortality and improve maternal health.

With the inauguration held at the Esquire Apartment at Soho Mews, the original song MASSIVEGOOD were recorded by Will.I.Am & Yvonne Chaka Chaka with some friends during the event.

In addition, a MASSIVEGOOD film, entitled “Masterpiece”, directed by world-renowned filmmaker director, Spike Lee starring Mary J. Blige, Samuel L. Jackson, Professor Brian Greene, Susan Sarandon and Paul Auster was also previewed.

Initial funds raised by MASSIVEGOOD will go to UNITAID.
