SONIA-RYKIEL-pwaw-2010

PARIS, Mar 8, 2010 / FW/ — At Sonia Rykiel, like in the preceding seasons, the models are smiling and walk with a relaxed gait, the founder of the brand Sonia Rykiel sitting front row in support of her daughter Nathalie who is the Creative Director of the brand.

In a full capacity crowd, Nathalie Rykiel unveiled her Fall 2010 collection in pastel shades of gray, pale pink and light brown. Following the brand’s naughty style, big fluffy pompons act as headdresses for the models, giving them a cheerleader look, which quite frankly looked so much fun.

Great classic suit, like a man’s shoulders, gives elegance and femininity to the silhouettes. Elegant and practical, the long-sleeved sweater with large mating and wide leather belt is a standout.

My personal favorites are the pants that are tapering to the bottom, with large patch pockets and thin straps, ending with a nice bow.

Light gray shirt and a multi-layer pink dress of organza decorated with horizontal folds, with collars borrowed from men’s shirts. A lot of fur handbags, pearl brooches and buttons created in a girl’s charming image.
