Ailanto Fall 2010

MADRID, Apr 10, 2010 / — Designing twins Iñaki and Aitor Muñoz were inspired by the students from the Conservatory of Music who dream of being rockers.

And for them, they designed voloured foulards, tied neckerchiefs and knotted scarves. Colors are bright – yellow, fuchsia and mustard against black, grey and ochres merging in figurative drawings that are combined with abstracts.

Musical instruments and lyre birds are camouflaged among baroque floral bouquets while texture is fundamental in the choice of the fabrics (wefted, flecked, jacquard or lurex). Woollen opaque fabrics contrast with brilliant silks.
