NEW YORK, May 3, 2010 / FW/ — Introducing a new women’s scent “Calvin Klein Beauty”, Calvin Klein Fragrances announced today that actress Diane Kruger will headline the upcoming worldwide print and television advertising campaign for the debut of the brand’s latest scent.

The much-anticipated new launch will introduce the new fragrance, Calvin Klein Beauty, into the brands’ existing portfolio of globally recognized fragrances. The new offering will be on counter this fall and further details on the product will be announced shortly.

Ms. Kruger will also be attending the 2010 Costume Institute Benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City this evening, with Francisco Costa, Calvin Klein Collection’s Women’s Creative Director.

Ms. Kruger joins a memorable group of well known Calvin Klein Fragrance models and actresses who have starred in the brand’s legendary and iconic advertising campaigns, including Kate Moss, Scarlett Johansson, Christy Turlington, Natalia Vodianova, and Eva Mendes. Calvin Klein’s renowned advertising campaigns have provoked controversy, propelled many careers, and captured the public’s imagination for four decades.

Ms. Kruger first captured the attention of moviegoers in “Wicker Park” and then found fame with her central role as Helen in the movie “Troy.” She recently starred in the Oscar nominated Quentin Tarantino film, “Inglourious Basterds,” receiving multiple accolades for her performance, as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination.
