MILAN, Jun 20, 2010 / FW/ — Maybe it’s because “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” hits theater on Jun 30th, but the first time that came to mind when I saw the Emporio Armani menswear collection is that Giorgio Armani had gone to the dark side… the world of vampires, i.e.
With the first half of the collection all in black, punctuated in the middle with silver and white and closing with an army of black leather clad alpha males, Giorgio Armani also played the current generation’s pre-occupation with the supernatural.
Black leather trousers, black shorts layered over black leggings were paired with black leather jacket quilted like a honeycomb and a shirt with giant eyelets.
Roberts Pattinson and Taylor Lautner might not be wearing this collection in the movie, but it would surely be nice to see them wearing it in their promotional tours.
