NEW YORK, Aug 12, 2010 / FW/ — The neon pink invitation with a photo of Betsey Johnson screamed “Ain’t it great to be 68!?” for the Queen of Punk’s birthday bash last night.
And though the designer’s Soho store was full of well wishers, family, friends and fans to greet her “Happy Birthday”, there was really not just enough room to accommodate all the fashionistas who dropped by.
The solution, a big white board created with photographer’s paper was set up in front of the Betsey Johnson Soho store so that everyone can sign one of the biggest birthday cards in the world.
