LOS ANGELES, Aug 30, 2010 / FW/ — Last night at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards bestowed 25 statuettes to HBO and 18 to ABC, making them the big winners last night.

The HBO movies, “The Pacific” and “Temple Grandin,” which earned 8 and 7 Emmys respectively made the night for the cable channel while freshman “Modern Family” garnered 6, which started the run for the network channel.
