MADRID, Oct 24, 2010 / — Futuristic horsewomen wearing ethnically-inspired and animal print designs were the focus of the Montse Bassons Spring 2011 collection unveiled on September 18th during Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week by designer Montse Bassons.

Brown scales are combined with copper-coloured python. Green makes an appearance in snake prints on the same theme. Blue in the collection is captured in brilliant layers of leopard print and in patterns that are reminiscent of peacock feathers.

An ethnic-African fabric with a brown backdrop and geometries in white and silver is the star of the collection. Colour can be found in prints in degradé and in brushstroke stripes in orange and lilac hues.
