NEW YORK, Nov 4, 2010 / FW/ — As part of the Sisley Art Project benefiting the Andy Warhol Museum, 18 customized motorcycle jackets by 17 pop artists of the contemporary art scene will be auctioned at Christie’s, New York on Monday, November 8, from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
Curated by Glenn O’Brien, the project is sponsored by Sisley, the Italian fashion brand of the Benetton Group.
The guest list for the cocktail reception and live auction include Alessandro Benetton, Executive Deputy Chairman of Benetton Group; Thomas Sokolowski, Director of the Andy Warhol Museum; Glenn O’Brien, curator; Hosts Vincent Fremont, Jane Holzer, Jay Johnson, Peter Marino and Tony Shafrazi.
