Patricia Field for MCM: Uptown Meets Downtown
NEW YORK, Nov 5, 2010 / FW/ — Making her mark on MCM, Emmy-Award winning costume designer Patricia Field has collaborated with MCM to create a capsule collection just in time for the fall season.
Inspired by artist and longtime friend of Pat’s, Martine,the bags superimpose Martine’s freeform sketches of a woman’s face on five new MCM styles.
Uptown meets downtown in this limited edition collection which arrives in stores this November with its first style wave, The Martine Group.
Designed in leather and canvas with hardware detailing in army green, cognac, and black, the bags are an edgier and refreshing take on the stuffy, ladylike look of the season.
The collection will range in price from $250 -$700 USD, and will be sold at select Saks Fifth Avenue locations, MCM at The Shops at The Plaza and the Patricia Field website.
