Anne Fontaine Created Doll for UNICEF

PARIS, Dec 1, 2010 / FW/ — Since 2003, the most prestigious fashion designers, the contemporary artists and celebrities create cloth dolls for UNICEF which are auctioned to support initiatives for children. For 2010, the proceeds are earmarked to finance the vaccination for the children of Darfour.

This year’s doll theme is the cinema. Marking her first year as a doll designer for UNICEF, Anne Fontaine created the “Sweet Little Face” doll which was inspired by the movie “Cabaret”.

The 2010 UNICEF dolls can be viewed at the Petit Palais from Nov 30 – Dec 5, 2010. Auction date had been set on December 7th at the Drouot Montaigne beginning 7:00 PM.
