PARIS, Jan 21, 2011/ FW/ — For his 13th collection Fall-Winter 2011/2012, KRISVANASSCHE has worked in association with EASTPAK, the brand for bags and rucksacks.

An original collaboration where Kris Van Assche captures the codes that make EASTPAK so popular among teenagers and absorbs them into his stylish and sophisticated world, where luxurious details as well as modern masculinity are of the essence.

With a strong urban spirit engrained with cool elegance, KVA has created 7 designs available in three combinations of fabrics and colours.

To echo the black/grey/natural palette of the Fall/Winter catwalk 2011.2012, the bags combine the influences of sportswear, classical elegance and military details. Parachute cloth, leather and rough cotton are associated and add sophistication to the whole range.

The bags reflect the designer’s trademarks: flexible fabric and sobriety, internal structure and clean lines. Every bag has a metal key ring, made out of two pieces that interlock, each part representing the name of the two respective brands.

The EASTPAK by KRISVANASSCHE line will be presented for the first time on the 21st of January during the Paris Fashion week. It will be available from June 2011 through a selection of KRISVANASSCHE and EASTPAK retailers, prices range between 50 to 250 Euros.
