PARIS, March 7, 2011/FW/– Primary colors against black and white hues are obviously trending this season, and the Commuun collection took this mode to a new level of modernity by infusing a techno temper and futuristic undertones.

Designers Kaito Hori and Iku Furudate played with opposing textures, such as sheer against fur, glossy against flat.

Layering piqued the interest level to high as short casual parkas draped overtop below-the-knee skirts that turned translucent at mid-thigh. Wide horizontal striped dresses floated down the runway in solid rainbow colors, each row switching between wool, shearling, and see through materials.

Shorter sleeveless dresses with thick ruffled detail made for a switch of silhouette, as the majority of the collection elongated the figure. Lust list items for the fall season are certainly found here!
