PARIS, Mar 12, 2011/ FW/ — At Yves Saint Laurent, Stefano Pilati went for timeless elegance as he reworked the late designer Yves Saint Laurent’s greatest hits.

Turning the strict and simple 1960s cut with the obligatory miniskirts, Stefano Pilati transformed the silhouettes into coherent and relevant pieces that are undoubtedly be highly covetable come fall.

Immaculate tweed suits and plaid school skirt look elegant and refined; 1980s-inspired sleeveless rocker jacket in patent leather were proposed Prince of Wales skirts! Stefano Pilati is starting a revolution in refined dressing and he is doing it with uber style!

Too bad that rumors are rampant that his departure from the House of Yves Saint Laurent is imminent; personally, I hope that the whispers are not true. But, Stefano Pilati does leave, he will sorely be missed!
