DKNY Releases Fall 2011 Ad Campaign Images
NEW YORK, Jul 5, 2011/ FW/ — With summer in full swing, DKNY released its Fall 2011 advertising campaign images and thus giving its fans a glimpse of what to expect come September.
Inspired by New York City with the theme “a new perspective for Fall”, the photos where were lensed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin featured the city as the backdrop. But, instead of making the city anonymous, the photographers gave it personality, even individuality, hence it also became one of the “models” thanks to the Big Apples iconic architecture.
With hair and makeup done by Melanie Ward, models Izabel Goulart, Anne V and Aline Weber headlined the campaign. Location for the shoots were 5th Avenue between 26th and 27th; Park Avenue and 67th; and Water Street between Broad Street and Coenties Slip.
