NEW YORK Sept 21, 2011 /FW/ -Tailoring takes an urban spin. We gathered on the streets of the Meatpacking to get the first glimpse of Bucklers S/S 2012 collection. Most definite; a perfect setting for models with a purpose to rock the latest dropped crotch pants, layering sweaters and slim blazers. Edge, ease and business business chic, Andrew Buckler is the secret key holder when it come to balancing a number of characterisitcs this season.

Offering a depth of variety is an understatement. The monochromatic dark palate enforced the importance of details that gave each garment its specific Andrew Buckler mark. As anticipated we saw oversized sweaters with asymmetrical zipper and button details. Cowl hooded scarves and jacket situations are easily predicted to be a huge hit this coming season!

The designer did not hold back when rolling out key looks in solid contrasting white and soft grays. Spring offers horizontal stripes and the occasional appearance of graphic destroyed T’s.He knows how to do all the right things to denim and jersey. Pieces were washed, rugged and layering ready. Accessories played an important role. Suspenders, oxfords and vintage inspired bags paired with bifocal specs some how created the perfect retro/vintage scenario.
