NEW YORK Sept 21, 2011 /FW/ -Carlos Campos merged South American and Aztec Myan influences for a colorful and modern for Spring 2012 collection. Just as the sun was setting we gathered at Milk Studios for the Mercedes Benz New York Fashion week to get a first glimpse of what the season had to offer.

Carlos was on board with the color blocking; trending right into S/S 2012. Solid interchangeable blazers and trousers appeared in shades of cognac, navy and sage. Fit was relaxed and simple featuring pleated trousers and shorts. It was a collection that allowed accessories to take notice. Monochromatic ensembles were accented by, Aztec printed belts and the occasional printed dress shirt.  Hemlines were raised in like fashion showcasing footwear that was the talk of the evening. Layered and safari ready looks were topped off with a variety of straw hats.

Simple goes a long way. Carlos Campos stands on top with color palate and accessories this coming season. As a key item for Spring, trench coats by Carlos are a must have.  With endless styling opportunity with in the collection we expect great success for Spring/Summer 2012!
