Porter Grey Spring 2012
NEW YORK, Sep 8, 2011/ FW/ — Kristen and Alexandra O’Neill, designing under the label Porter Grey brought back 1950s and 1960s chic front and center for Spring 2012.
Inspired by their grandparents’ summer parties at their Oyster Bay Cove home, Kristen and Alexandra O’Neill made dressing up when visiting neighbors fashionable again.
In an era where street dressing and jeans prevail, Porter Grey’s take on the simple joy of dressing up for garden parties gives us hope that we will forgo our jeans and t-shirts more often when we socialize.
That said, it should also be mentioned that Porter Grey makes it easy for its clientele to forget jeans and t-shirts. The relaxed silhouettes make comfortable and fashionable synonymous.
