NEW YORK, Feb 11, 2012/ — Perhaps, the current fascination that the year 2012 would be the end of the world that became the seed of inspiration for Mara Hoffman for her South American Shaman Cowboys collection.
Known for her eclectic inspirations that usually result to eye catching prints, Mara Hoffman did it again for Fall 2012 as she sent out ethnic prints, appliqué and beadings based on native South American culture.
Kaftans, jumpsuits, hooded gowns and mini trench dresses dominated the collection. But, beautiful as the collection is (and believe me, these pieces will be good additions to a womans wardrobe), it is also very light and airy for the season. It fits more as a cruise collection than for fall and winter.
