NEW YORK, Feb 17, 2012/ FW/ — Entitled ‘Graphic Kaleidoscope’, for her Fall 2012 collection, the Whitney Eve designer, Whitney Port, was inspired by an antique kaleidoscope that she had found in her Grandmother’s house.
The kaleidoscope inspired collection unveiled an array of vibrant, chic looks embodying elements of jewel tones, shattered prints, luxe fabrics, and graphic shapes that are perfect for the girl on the go.
Also, in the feminine, yet eclectic Fall/Winter 2012 collection, the looks embody a whimsical aesthetic that is toughened up with masculine tailoring with pieces such as peplum blouses, tapered and tailored pants, and soft, casual suiting.
Also, evoking the theme of a graphic kaleidoscope, there are textured, patterned velvet wrap dresses, geometric, beaded cocktail dresses, and heavily, embellished cocktail shorts that create a youthful vibe for the eveningwear looks of the collection.
