MILAN, Jun 22, 2012/ — For Spring 2013, Marni presents a short film “Proiezioni” (Projections) as a companion for its Spring 2014 menswear presentation.
As the collection is an exploration of prints used on simple forms, patterns are made alive in the movie, using the specificity of the cinematographic medium: light, projection, movement.
Made sheer, almost de-materialized, prints turn into rotating plays of light projected onto the model, his clothes, the background. Classic geometric shapes are presented in a lively, revolving format which is precise yet slightly psychedelic.
