Club Monaco Fall 2012 Campaign

NEW YORK, Jul 11, 2012/ — Shot in Brooklyn, New York and rendered in black & white, the Club Monaco Fall 1 2012 campaign stars international fashion models Kolfinna Kristoffersdottir and Will Eustace.

In the campaign images, Kolfinna and Will are seen wearing smartly tailored pieces with a touch of casual ease to create the perfect transitional wardrobe. Each piece maintains a careful balance of structure and softness that can easily adapt to the various moods and swings of autumn weather.

The focus remains heavy on color, texture and prints – with inspiration from Linda McCartney’s Life in Photographs, Sonia Delaunay’s masterful block prints and the leading men of the Silent Generation.

For Fall 2012, the Club Monaco girl starts off the season by mixing traditional prep with a laid back, modern spin. Kelly green shines as the statement color, while pale blue and off-white denim pieces work as key foundation neutrals.

Color blocking and tribal prints in cream, red and navy share the spotlight until the weather cools down, when plaid blazers, military-inspired parkas and argyle accessories emerge to give the collection an autumnal edge. Accessories keep a vintage feel with long, tarnished necklaces, silk scarves and chocolate-colored clutches.

This season’s menswear collection takes a cue from iconic, sophisticated artists—George Harrison, Gregory Peck, Hunter S. Thompson, to name a few— and revisits their timeless elegance. Our take on this impossibly cool style includes adding a soft edge to our favorite closet staples.

Classic blazers, cable-knit wools and lightweight tweeds in a sophisticated palette remain at the heart of the collection, but their cozy fabrics generate a casual vibe, perfect for dressing up or down. Each piece is sensible, but is always made with a hint of warmth and whimsy.
