Designed for the modern woman, the Poko Pano Spring/Summer 2014 collection is a combination of sleek silhouettes and structured shapes with volume and architectural form. The 40-piece collection contains bold and flirty bikinis, maillots, caftans and pants that encompass the rhythm of Salvador, the capital city of Bahia, Brazil.

Each look was inspired by the city’s vibrant culture, crafts and ambiance, from famed street artist Bel Bora to the Brazilian martial arts style of Capoeira. The vibrant color palette is reminiscent of the tropical shades found in Salvador, and introduces rich hues of blue, orange, red, green, pink, yellow and gold.

The collection’s prints are influenced by the historic buildings in Pelourinho, Salvador, the Bonfim ribbon, also known as the Brazilian wish bracelet, as well as inspired by the lush flowers, tropical hibiscus, and coconut trees of the region.
