lana del rey nylon cover2DALLAS, Oct 23, 2013/ — Singing sensation Lana Del Rey hits a top note once again as she graces the cover of the November 2013 issue of NYLON magazine.

Photographed by Marvin Scott Jarrett (NYLON’s Editor-In-Chief) in Los Angeles, Lana mixed labels as she opted to wear a shirt from Calvin Klein Jeans, a bustier from Nasty Gal and a skirt from DKNY. She completed the look with a choker from Pamela Love and a cross necklace from Blue Bayer.

Lana who will be seen this fall in short film, Tropico, which also features tree songs off the singer’s Paradise EP, talked about her song “Video Games” in the full spread article about her.

“I know when I wrote it, I was in love with it ,” said Lena. “I sent it to everyone, saying, ‘Look! This is me in song form,” she recounted. “No one in my own circle had a very big reaction, but then Fearne Cotton on Radio 1 started spinning it every day, and that’s when things really started to change.”

She talked about many things from growing up near Lake Placid to attending a Catholic elementary school. She also touched on her life in New York while studying at Fordham University and her current life with love Barrie-James O’Neill (frontman of the Glaswegian alt-folk band Kassidy)
