SS16 NEW YORK FASHION WEEK FASHIONIn a season where “white is the new black” is a very strong trend, Yigal Azrouel decided to go black and white, resulting to a delicately strong collection that is both feminine and romantic.

Floral motifs evolved throughout the collection’s abstract prints, delicate lace and hand-crafted embroidery. Upping the ante for femininity are intricate details like scalloped edging and jabot necklines.
Yigal’s inspired architectural form is injected into modern minimalist design elements like cut-out shoulders, structured sleeves, framed panels, and tiered overlays.

Dimensional layers and shadows are achieved by way of tonal coloring and contrasting effect – sheer chiffon pairs with silk charmeuse for ease and fluidity while leather jackets and trim add a tough hint of cool that consistently delivers a dose of confident, effortless sensuality.
