Christian Siriano Fall 2018: Celebrating a Decade of Fashion

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK / — Has it been 10 years when Christian Siriano was pronounced the winner of Project Runway? Well, it is… and Christian Siriano had gone from strength to strength since he took the fashion world by storm.

For his 10-year anniversary, Siriano regaled his fans with 72 looks on the catwalk! And taking a cue from the current fascination with upcoming nuptial of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle, Siriano created a collection that is pure “glamour and excitement of an ultimate royal dinner party.”

Inspired by late 18th century British art that hangs in the Queen’s Gallery in London, the collection is filled with luxe fabrics and romantic silhouettes. It also recalled some of the label’s most notable looks from its first decade, modernized for today’s women.

As if the glam from the clothes was not enough, Siriano packed his runway and his front row with star power. With Ashley Graham opening the show, the audience hooted and clapped with Danielle Brooks made her appearance with Selma Blair taking down the house with her catwalk debut wearing a catsuit printed with script.

Whoopi Goldberg, Meg Ryan, Molly Shannon, Cardi B, Laverne Cox, Jaimie Alexander, Sarah Rafferty, Coco Rocha, Nastia Liukin, Larsen Thompson and Leigh Lezark sat front row.
