The daughter of ex-Beatle Paul McCartney and Linda Eastman, Stella gained celebrity status by just being born in 1971. But she was not content being the daugther of celebrity parents. She went out to make a name of her own.

At age 15, she started working with Christian Lacroix and got her first-hand experience on design. She studied at Central St. Martins, and at 25, she landed the job at Chloe.
When she joined Chloe in 1997, she dramatically increased the sales of the flagging fashion powerhouse. She brought with her celebrity clients who includes Madonna and Cameron Diaz.
Of course, it also helped that she is a darling to the press. Stella’s sweet countenance made her an instant favorite of the fashion photographers and reporters. A member of the “rock royalty” her celebrity friends include Madonna who calls her “Stelly”
She stayed with Chloe for 4 years.
In March 2001, she left Chloe and launched her own label under her name in a partnership with Gucci. Her label “Stella McCartney” debuted in Paris during the Spring 2002 season.
Stella McCartney is one of the most admirable celebrity children. Paul and Linda McCartney gave her a wholesome upbringing. She is a strict vegetarian and espouses her late mother’s no-meat values. As a result, Stella McCartney refuses to work with fur.
Nicknamed Stella Steel by the fashion world, her meteoric rise to the top was undoubtedly helped by her family connections.
