NEW YORK, Jan 28, 2008 / FW/ — Heatherette cancelled their Fall 2008 catwalk show, scheduled to be held at the Roseland Ballroom, the New York Magazine reported last January 11. Meanwhile, the New York Daily News reported today that Richie Rich and Traver Rains, designers for Heatherette are reorganizing.
“Three years ago, we signed a deal with backers who became our partners. Now those three years are up and we are figuring out what we want to do. Do we re-sign or not? All this was just bad timing for Fashion Week this year,” Traver Rains told NY Daily News.
The Big Apple newspaper also reported that Heatherette were launching a new M.A.C. cosmetics line, reorganizing “to tap back into the high-end dress market” and planning a return to the catwalk in September.
