DALLAS, Jul 8, 2008 / FW/ — Sometimes you find a collection that has everything you want and the BCBG Runway Resort Collection 2009 is just that. Fun with a touch of the little rebel inside all of us, it’s the perfect wardrobe in between seasons.

If you’ve been wondering what is a ‘resort collection,’ it all begun in Europe when people take one month off for the summer! That is true up to today; in fact, during August, there are more tourists in Paris than Parisians because the French are in the seaside resorts spending their summer vacation. The same hold true in Milan and other European cities.
As always, going on vacation means packing and of course dressing up; and that’s how the ‘resort collection’ begun it life. It’s called ‘resort’ because it is for going on vacation. And, there is also the Cruise Collection that usually comes out during winter time; the reason for its being, people go on a cruise to be away from the dismal winter and see the sun! Sometimes, it is also called the ‘bridge collection’ as in ‘bridging the gap between seasons.’
