Wuyong
Wuyong

PARIS, Jul 7, 2008 / FW/ — I’m not sure how you define fashion, but to me it is something that inspires and provokes the wearer. Wuyong’s “collection” did not succeed, to me, at either of these things. His “show” was more of a presentation of the process the fabrics go through to be finally constructed into garments. His “models” were more like Tai Chi experts, and each was draped in shapeless, earth tone, sacs. His under-designing was conspicuous against the rest of the lavish shows we saw this week.
